As part of the "Cultura Sacra" concert series, an excellent program with just such performers is offered. In March, April and May, for example, the Tyrolean Baroque Days ensure festive music enjoyment. Sacred folk music from the Alps can be heard at the Götzner Musiksommer in July and August, and New Sacred Music in October features a world premiere by a Tyrolean composer. The contemplative musical end of the year of the Cultura Sacra in Götzens traditionally takes place with the Advent of the Senses.

Our holiday apartments in Götzens are an ideal starting point for hikes in the mountains around Innsbruck. It doesn't matter whether you are traveling
with a stroller or are an experienced mountain hiker, everyone will find the right hiking trail with us and most of the hiking trails start right on our
doorstep.
The Innsbrucker Almenweg is a good tip for families. The attractive hiking trail leads along a gently sloping forest path from the Götzner Alm via the Raitiser and Muttereralm to the Kreither Alm. The walking time between the individual pastures is around 30 minutes. Striking vantage points and benches invite you to linger.

You will find a variety of bathing facilities around Götzens: an outdoor pool in Axams and the bathing lake in Natters for hot days, but also the indoor pool in Axams for a rainy day in between.
The Natterer See is only a few minutes' walk away. Mermaids and watermen find their paradise here. And the 66 meter long giant water slide "Happy Swing" makes the little vacationers shine.

The "Nockspitz Bahn" eight-seater gondola lift runs directly from Götzens up to the Pfriemesköpfl and Muttereralm ski areas. The family ski area offers the most modern infrastructure and 20 kilometers of slopes. Two 8-seater gondolas from Mutters and Götzens, a 4-seater chair lift, a tow lift and some children's lifts ensure a varied day of skiing. The pistes around the mountain station are ideal for beginners and returnees, the slopes down to the villages of Mutters and Götzens are also a pleasure for experienced skiers and the slalom race track on the Pfriemesköpfl also attracts professional ski teams from all over the world to the Muttereralm. By the way, almost all 20 kilometers of pistes are snowed with modern snow lances, so that you will always find perfect conditions!
In terms of gastronomy, the Muttereralm leaves nothing to be desired: The newly built panorama mountain restaurant with a spacious sun terrace, the "Nockhof" at the middle station and the two après-ski bars "Swing In" at the Mutterer valley station and "Lighthouse" invite you to end the day in a relaxed atmosphere ski days on.

Ideal for guests from Götzens: you can walk from the Axamer Lizum to the valley station of the Götzner Bahn depart.
The Stubai Glacier ski area and the Schlick 2000 ski area in the Stubaital are also not far away and are connected to Götzens twice a week via a free ski bus.

Tobogganing on the Muttereralm family natural toboggan run
Tobogganing has become one of the most popular winter sports: a brisk or leisurely hike uphill - fun in the hut and a fast ride downhill ... Sport, entertainment and fun guaranteed.
The "Muttereralm" toboggan run is characterized by its easy accessibility. Your start can be reached either with the Muttereralm-Bahn or after a walking time of approx. 2 hours. The well-known family toboggan run from the mountain station to the middle station has a length of approx. 2.5 km and is ideal for families with children. There is a toboggan rental at both valley stations (Mutters and Götzens). So nothing stands in the way of tobogganing fun every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access with toboggans possible from the middle station.
The Götzner Alm is also a worthwhile culinary destination for tobogganers who appreciate traditional cuisine. The Alm can be reached directly via a winter hiking trail from Götzens. You can also use this for the descent. Alternatively, a beautiful winter hiking trail leads from the Muttereralm to the Götzner Alm.
