Art and culture in Innsbruck and Götzens
It doesn't have to be a sport every day? In Innsbruck, only a few minutes away by car, there are sights, art, culture and shopping opportunities for variety.
The striking pilgrimage church of St. Peter and Paul greets you in Götzens from afar and invites you to visit. The Rococo church from the 18th century. is not only an architectural jewel, but also an acoustic one, since several top-class concerts take place here every year.
As part of the "Cultura Sacra" concert series, an excellent program with just such performers is offered. In March, April and May, for example, the Tyrolean Baroque Days ensure festive music enjoyment. Sacred folk music from the Alps can be heard at the Götzner Musiksommer in July and August, and New Sacred Music in October features a world premiere by a Tyrolean composer. The contemplative musical end of the year of the Cultura Sacra in Götzens traditionally takes place with the Advent of the Senses.

The Innsbrucker Almenweg is a good tip for families. The attractive hiking trail leads along a gently sloping forest path from the Götzner Alm via the Raitiser and Muttereralm to the Kreither Alm. The walking time between the individual pastures is around 30 minutes. Striking vantage points and benches invite you to linger.
You can also hike through the most beautiful mountain pastures in the area during the guided hiking programme, which guests in Götzens can take part in free of charge.
If the entire route is too far to walk, you can use the mountain railways in summer too.
We recommend the hiking area of the Axamer Lizum to ambitious mountaineers here at the foot of the Kalkkögel there are also the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte and the Kemater Alm, two very worthwhile hiking destinations.

You shouldn't miss the mountain bike route to the Götzner Alm or the Mutterer Almweg.
Don't want to go mountain biking alone? Then join one of the guided mountain bike tours. These are free for our guests in Götzens and bike rental is also included! The mountain bikes are handed out directly at the tourist office meeting point. Please do not forget to bring your guest card with you.
Water sports in the sun and also in the rain
You will find a variety of bathing facilities around Götzens: an outdoor pool in Axams and the bathing lake in Natters for hot days, but also the indoor pool in Axams for a rainy day in between.
The Natterer See is only a few minutes' walk away. Mermaids and watermen find their paradise here. And the 66 meter long giant water slide "Happy Swing" makes the little vacationers shine.
The outdoor pool in the leisure center in Axams includes a 25-metre sports pool, a 1-metre and a 3-metre diving tower, a wide-water wave slide and a climbing net in the water.
And if the sun doesn't shine from the sky in sun-kissed Götzens, our guests can visit the indoor pool in Axams free of charge.
